From our Executive Pastor
Hey Church Family.
Happy Valentines Day! I hope you are able to spend some quality time with your significant other today to let them know how important they are to you. Or if you do not have a significant other, you can always do a random act of kindness to show a stranger the love of Christ as a part of our February “Crosspoint Loves You” campaign. It has been so cool to see all of the yard signs around town as well as hearing the incredible stories of people showing love and kindness to complete strangers in our community. In fact, a few days ago, someone in front of me in the Starbucks drive through paid for my coffee. That in turn enabled me to pay for the person’s coffee behind me. I love how the Bible describes this idea of contagious generosity – “Generosity begets generosity.” Mark 4:45 (MSG) The word “beget” simply means “to bring about.” As Christ followers we have an amazing opportunity to “bring about” the kingdom of God here on earth as we reach out and show love to a desperate and hurting world around us. A simple act of kindness can go a long way especially when it is done in the name of Jesus.
I have also loved and been challenged by our current message series “Solo to Soulmates.” If you have missed any of the messages you can catch up by watching them here and definitely try your best to be here this weekend as we only have 2 weekends left in this series. Below are also numerous things going on here at the church that you can take a next step and get involved in.
Have a great rest of the week and we will see you this weekend!

Pick up a list of Random Acts of Kindness ideas from the Guest Services Desk. We are posting reminders on Facebook and Instagram and we have FREE “Crosspoint Loves You” signs in the lobby. As you are out showing the love of Jesus to people, share your experience on social media with #CrosspointLovesYou.
